Steve Young

Steve is the captain of the ship. He began Valley Contax in 1981 and still loves coming to work everyday. Steve has seen many changes in the contact lens industry and if you ever get him talking, you can connect a lot of dots with his knowledge of its history. He's awesome to work for and keeps the laughter level up, whichever department he happens to be in at the moment. Steve has accomplished something very important by bringing Valley Contax to the GP industry and has touched the lives of many people along the way. What else? How about bungy-jumping in New Zealand, five marathons including New York, Best-of-Show in Portland with his 66 Impala and looking down from the summit of Mt. Hood. C'mon Steve, get some energy going.

Janice Schramm, NCLC

Janice is the Vice President of Valley Contax and has been a part of Valley's staff for over 25 years. We are so proud of Janice for her unselfish dedication to Valley Contax and her participation in the Contact Lens Manufacturers Association where she is presently the association's President and has served as Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer prior to her present position. She is a leading consultant at Valley Contax. Janice teaches NCLE certification prep classes and travels extensively representing Valley Contax. Janice recently enjoyed the rare and precious experience of trekking high among the Himalayas in Bhutan.
