• Back aspheric add utilizing a unique S Type technology to place all of the add on the back surface in Series I (add of +1.25), Series II (add of +1.75), Series III (add of +2.25).

• CSA (Add on the front surface)

  • Series I: Csa Add: 1.50D, Central Zone: 4.3mm

  • Series II: Csa Add: +0.75D to +2.50D in 0.25D increments, Central Zone: Reduced 4.0mm, Increased 4.8mm

  • Series III: Csa Add: 1.50D, Central Zone: 4.3mm.

• Manufactured in Boston ES  material.

Candidates

• Patients who have presbyopia.

• Base Curve radius in .10mm steps

6.90mm to 8.30mm

• Diameters

8.5 to 10.5mm

Fitting

• Ask for the use of a diagnostic set to fit the Essential GP.

• Select a slightly flatter base curve than a single vision lens.

• Call Valley Contax with Ks, Spectacle Refraction and Spectacle Add.
