Candidates

• The perfect lens for the Post LASIK, Post RK, and Post Corneal Transplant.

• Any patient who has an irregular cornea due to trauma, refractive surgery, of corneal grafts.

Lens Parameters

• This is a custom made lens, that is available in a very wide array of Base Curves, Reverse Curves, and sagital depths.† The XLC RG is available in a 14 lens fitting set that covers an immense scale of patients.

Fitting

• The Comfort XL Reverse Geometry is a lens that is most successful fitting by using fitting sets. However with a mapping, start with a basecurve that is closest to the K reading that is 3 mm from central, on the temporal K.

• Place that lens on the eye, and determine if the central pattern is acceptable, at that point, assess the reverse geometry.† Determine whether it is adequate, the amount of reverse geometry can be ordered in a step system that is a simple to use as all of our "steps" in our specialty line of products.† Simply over-refract the patient to best possible acuity, ideally, with our using cylinder, however, this lens is made in a toric if needed.
