Andrew was born and raised in Southeastern Indiana. After graduating from the Optometric Technology program at Indiana University in 2008, he moved to Anchorage, Alaska. He worked for a small optical company delivering eye care to over 200 native villages in the bush of Alaska. That opportunity was unique due to mostly traveling for the job via small bush plane, snowmobile, and dog sled. The experience made him fall in love with Alaska. Drew eventually moved into the Ophthalmology side of the eyecare field and worked as an Ophthalmology Technician and O.R. scrub technician assisting in a wide variety of eye surgeries. Drew joined Valley Contax in February of 2022. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in his free time. His favorite activities are fishing, camping, biking, skiing, and snowmobiling in the great outdoors.
