Valley Contax Announces Shuffleboard Bowl Winner.

Eugene, OR – Valley Contax recently awarded three $500 scholarships to the winners of the Shuffleboard Bowl at their booth during Optometry’s Meeting in Chicago, IL. Current optometry students and alumni were encouraged to represent their school by playing an abbreviated game of shuffleboard and earning points towards the scholarships.

Hundreds of students and alumni from more than 20 schools of optometry participated. Dr. Adeline Bauer, professional relations director of Valley Contax said, “It was wonderful meeting students from all over the country and seeing them work together to earn these scholarships for their schools.” First place was awarded to Kentucky College of Optometry who received two $500 scholarships. The second-place winner was Oklahoma College of Optometry who was awarded a $500 scholarship. The winner of the participation prize of the Apple Air pods was student Joe D. from Illinois College of Optometry.
