John Hibbs
Vice President of Commercial Sales for North America, Contamac US
John Hibbs graduated from TCU in 1985 and has been in the eye care industry for 35 years, spending the majority of his time with Bausch & Lomb's Boston Products Division. He is currently Vice President of Commercial Sales for North America for Contamac US, a contact lens materials manufacturer. John is President of the CLMA board and Vice President of the GPLI and serves on the InspirED board, Levitt Foundation, and chair of the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library. He was elected and served three elected terms on the Arlington Independent School District Board of Trustees as Vice President. He is very active in community service, including Lake Arlington Childrens Ministry Leadership, Chairman of Arlington Childrens Toys Inc., and Chairman of the George Hawkes Library Funding Campaign.
Carl Kramer, OD, FAAO, FSLS
Professional Relations Director
Dr. Carl Kramer is an optometrist specializing in corneal and contact lens care, with clinical expertise in specialty lens fitting for complex corneal and ocular surface conditions. He earned his OD from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2015, completed a cornea and contact lens residency at UMSL, and went on to spend five years on the UMSL faculty teaching and coordinating the residency program. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society, and serves on the advisory board of the GP Lens Institute. After ten years as a Valley Contax consultant, Dr. Kramer has stepped into a more involved role as Professional Relations Director, working to strengthen ties between Valley Contax and the eyecare community and support the education of students, residents, and practicing optometrists. Dr. Kramer practices at Grin Eye Care in the Kansas City area.
CharliRae Edmunds, NCLEC
Professional Services Director
CharliRae started in Customer Service for Valley Contax in January 2014 and joined the Consulting team in the fall of that same year. CharliRae loves the challenge and constant evolution of the specialty contact lens industry. CharliRae is NCLEC Certified and has taken on extending roles at Valley Contax in Product Development, assisting with the development of the ARES HOA correcting scleral lens. She is also Director of the Professional Services Department, leading both Customer Services and Consultation teams in providing the best service and experience from the moment you make contact with us.
Tessa Marcelli, NCLEC
Professional Services Manager, Customer Services
Tessa has been with Valley Contax since April of 2018. As Professional Services Manager, her number one goal is to provide and to help her team provide the best customer service in the industry. She strives to make your experience with Valley as successful and as positive as possible. Originally from Northern California she made Springfield, OR her home in 2017. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her two kids play sports, crafting and the outdoors.
Amy Bannister, NCLEC
Professional Services Manager, Consultation Services
Amy started with Valley Contax in the spring of 2014 and quickly joined the consultation team. She is grateful for the opportunity to now manage our consultation department, helping our consultants grow and evolve as individuals within her team. Amy's favorite part about working in this industry is the ability to work with a product that changes lives. She also loves the ability to build friendships and professional relationships along the way! In her spare time, Amy enjoys camping, being on the lake and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband and 2 sons.
