Valley Contax Announces Carl Kramer, OD, FAAO, FSLS as New Professional Relations Director

Valley Contax proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Carl Kramer, OD, FAAO, FSLS as its new Professional Relations Director.

In his new role, Dr. Kramer will support Valley Contax’s growing focus on education, clinical collaboration, and strengthening partnerships within the optometric community.

“We are very excited to have Dr. Kramer join the team,” said Josh, Vice President of Valley Contax. “He brings added expertise and energy to our education, clinical support, and college of optometry collaborations.”

Dr. Kramer shared his enthusiasm about the transition:
“I am excited to begin this new chapter with Valley Contax. Working as a consultant for Valley for the last ten years has been a fantastic experience, and I look forward to having a more involved role within the company. I am excited to help cultivate and nurture the relationship between Valley Contax and the eyecare community, as well as contributing to the education of students, residents, and practicing optometrists.”

Valley Contax is confident that Dr. Kramer’s leadership will further elevate its commitment to innovation, education, and clinical partnership in specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Carl Kramer, OD, FAAO, FSLS 

Dr. Kramer brings extensive experience in corneal care and specialty contact lenses, combining years in private practice with five years on faculty at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, where he educated and mentored future optometrists.

A nationally recognized lecturer and Fellow of both the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Education Society, he is deeply committed to advancing specialty lens education and clinical excellence.
